COMMITTEE MINUTES FROM TUESDAY 17 APRIL 2007
IN THE "IMPERIAL BAR", AIRDRIE AT 7.15PM
Present : Jay Hunt, David Dunn, Christine McMahon, Ken Paton, Douglas Bryson, Fiona Thomson, Liz Cushley, James Muir, John Young
Apologies : Willie Murphy
David will work out profit made from ceilidh for next meeting. The town hall worked out cheaper than last year to hire.
Jay will contact Willie re a programme for short walks.
Social events which will take place will be : Abseiling, Treasure Hunt, evening walk at the Falls of Clyde followed by pub stop and a return visit to Inchcolm Island at South Queensferry followed by a meal. Christine has also suggested a tribute night in the Normandy Hotel some time in the Autumn.
Ken has now upgraded the system for the digital mapping.
David has suggested Tarbet as location for the barbecue. People could go for a short walk or sail. Midges could be the only problem.
The abseiling can take place either at Neilston Quarry or Auchinstarry near Kilsyth.
Ken will arrange the Car Treasure Hunt.
Final dates will be discussed at next meeting.
