COMMITTEE MINUTES FROM MONDAY 2 AUGUST 2004

IN THE "IMPERIAL BAR", AIRDRIE AT 7PM

The cruise on Loch Lomond was a great night with lovely weather. 38 attended this.

 

Christine to purchase 6 first aid kits and find out about Velcro straps.

 

We will now hold Bowling night at the end of October.

 

Tickets now on sale for ceilidh on October 9th. We will again sell 180 tickets at £10 each.

 

The 20th anniversary which is in July 2005 was discussed. Jim suggested trying to obtain photos which were taken by Douglas Fermie and Eddie Howell who are now deceased. Stick on badges for rucksacks was suggested and some kind of social event.

 

Kenny to book the Christmas party for the Tudor, preferably a Friday/Saturday night for 30.

 

The 2005 ceilidh will take place on Saturday 26 February next year. Hall provisionally booked, band to be confirmed.

 

The navigation course will take place in October. A note to be put round the bus to see who is interested.

 

Easter weekend is from 25-28th March next year. Venue still to be decided.

 

Ken produced draft copy of the winter programme.
