COMMITTEE MINUTES FROM TUESDAY 15 AUGUST 2006
IN THE "IMPERIAL BAR", AIRDRIE AT 7.15PM
Present : Jay Hunt, Christine McMahon, David Dunn, Ken Paton, John Young, James Muir, Liz Cushley, Fiona Thomson

Ken to check dates for the ceilidh.
Sheet has been put round the bus for Aviemore weekend for 2007 which will take place 12-18 May. Ken will make up slips with full details.
It was decided to stay in the Imperial for the time being for the committee meetings.
Jay will have the newsletter ready to go out with the winter programme.
Shorter walks was discussed. Although this hasn’t worked previously, Willie Murphy will be asked if he would like to try and organize this.
The 33 seater will be booked throughout the winter programme.
David is enquiring about a bus for the Xmas party night to Newtonmore on 15 December. Christine will ask who is interested.
The winter programme was discussed. Ken is looking for suggestions for walks. Will be finalised by next meeting.
Jay has suggested the club have a day out next summer at the Kilsyth summer festival.
Social events suggested for the winter months are bowling, Xscape at Braehead, Ratho and Ghost Walk in Edinburgh as well as the party night and ceilidh. Final decisions will be made at next meeting.
