COMMITTEE MINUTES FROM MONDAY 2 DECEMBER 2002
IN AIRDRIE LIBRARY AT 7PM

Leaders Meeting
The following leaders attended the committee meeting to discuss general leadership points.
Alan Ward, Jackie Ford, John McLaughlin, MaureenO'Donnell.
Jay's action plan was handed out and the points were discussed. Christine will post the notes out to any leader who could not attend. It was decided a checklist would be made out after all the points were gathered together from all leaders.
Committee Meeting
The ceilidh is booked for Saturday 15 February 2003 and the tickets now available at £8. It will be 7.00pm for 7.30pm start, bringing own food and drink. Christine will contact other groups to invite them along.
Christine received a raffle prize of a fleece jacket from Tisos and their logo is on the tickets. John J suggested we also contact some distillers to see if they would like to donate anything.
The two-way radios were discussed. John J has been given a loan of radios to try out on a walk, free of charge.
UVAF funding was discussed. John J has application forms, up to £5,000 can be claimed.
A new venue will have to be found for the meetings. John has a booklet listing all places in Coatbridge and Airdrie for hire.
John asked if anything different should be done regarding the summer programme. It was suggested that we try and not put on "A" and "C" walks together.
Jim will put a note in "The Advertiser" regarding the ceilidh and the first walk in January.
