COMMITTEE MINUTES FROM TUESDAY 12 FEBRUARY 2008
IN COATBRIDGE INDOOR BOWLING CLUB, AT 7.15PM
Present : Jay Hunt, Christine McMahon, Ken Paton, Douglas Bryson, Fiona Thomson, David Dunn, Jim Muir, Maureen O’Donnell
Apologies : Willie Murphy, Liz Cushley
Maureen has now rejoined the committee.
The meetings will now be held in the Bowling Club.
Ceilidh tickets have been selling slowly. Members to be contacted to remind them of date. Raffle donations asked for on last walk.
The committee dinner will be held on Thursday 6 March. Christine to book Tudor Hotel.
Christine is making up list of leaders and drivers mobile numbers which will be sent out along with Summer programme.
Ken produced copy of draft Summer programme. Suggestions were made for walks. Ken and David will produce final programme for next meeting.
It was decided to hold the summer barbecue at Yellowcraigs again with the cost for the day being free.
Other suggestions for social events included: Summer sail – either Waverley/North Berwick to Bass Rock/Calmac Ferry and meal; Viking Festival in Largs; Quiz night although this will probably take place in the Autumn.
A note will also be put in along with the programme re navigation course to be held in the Autumn.
