COMMITTEE MINUTES FROM MONDAY 6 JANUARY 2003
IN THE "IMPERIAL BAR", AIRDRIE AT 7PM
Present : Jay Hunt, Ken Paton, Christine McMahon, Jim Muir, John Young, Pat Malone, Kenny Weldon

It was decided to hold the meetings in the "Imperial Bar" meantime as the library should be open again in a few weeks.
Elizabeth has resigned from the Committee as she is moving to St.Andrews. Christine will put a card and sheet round the bus on the next walk for a gift for her.
The ceilidh tickets are now on sale. Other clubs have been notified of the date etc. It was suggested we use paper tablecloths. Ken has some left from the last ceilidh. Plastic cups to be taken as well in case anyone forgets. It was decided to raffle the fleece jacket separately at 50p a go.
No responses have been received yet from the action plan. Jim will put it on the web site.
The Area AGM will be held at Lockerbie on Saturday 25 January 2003. Pat and Jay will attend.
The Area Council Meeting will be held at Elmbank Chambers, Glasgow on Saturday 15 February. Jay and Christine will attend.
Scottish Council to be held on weekend 22 and 23 March at Blairgowrie. Jay will attend and is looking for one other to go along.
The Summer programme was discussed. John has most of it complete.
Jay to check round to see who wants to go to Ullapool at Easter weekend.
