COMMITTEE MINUTES FROM TUESDAY 9 JANUARY 2007

IN THE "IMPERIAL BAR", AIRDRIE AT 7.15PM

Ken mentioned that the Aviemore Walking Festival was now on the website and he will run off some details for other members to have a look at. Ken and Linda and a few others have already booked for the weekend 18-20th May.

 

There are 32 attending the ghost walk in Edinburgh on Saturday 27 January. Liz will run off menu for everyone to have a look at on the day. The ghost walk starts at 7.30. The bus will leave Coatbridge at 3pm and Airdrie at 3.15pm.

 

The visit to Scottish Parliament will be arranged for another time.

 

The tickets are going slow at the moment for the ceilidh. Ken stated that the band is more expensive this year.

 

Some members still looking for a weekend away at Easter. The Isle of Mull was mentioned. Jay will look into this for accommodation.

 

John has started the Summer programme and is looking for suggestions for walks and leaders.

 

Scottish Council will take place at Dunblane Hydro this year on the weekend of 10/11 March. It has not been decided who will be attending.
