Due to the recent cancellation of the Aviemore walk (only two cars went) Ken / Christine will produce a note to go round the bus asking for feedback on why there was little interest and a note about cancellation in general.

Ken has managed to book the band for the St Andrews ceilidh for Saturday 15 November. Kenny to organise hall. It was decided tickets should be £9 and other groups to be advised as in the past.

Jay advised that there are funds available from "Paths for All" for clubs promoting walking, and walking for health. Jay will find out more about this. Jay also mentioned that there were funds available from the Millennium Grant if groups could produce some sort of book about walks. Again Jay will find out more about this.

Jim mentioned that on the Millport walk there was only one committee member and do we go ahead if no committee members turn up. Although this has never happened, leaders are to ensure that at least one committee member is present on the day.

John J produced posters to put up in libraries etc., these were handed out to some members to distribute throughout the Coatbridge / Airdrie area.
