COMMITTEE MINUTES FROM TUESDAY 9 MARCH 2010
IN COATBRIDGE INDOOR BOWLING CLUB, AT 7.15PM
Present : Christine McMahon, James Muir, Ken Paton, Liz Hunt, Margaret Murray, David Dunn, Liz Cushley, Douglas Bryson
Apologies : Maureen O’Donnell
Leaders : Jim McKechnie, John McNulty, Alex Paterson
Some leaders attended the meeting in order that the Summer programme could be finalised.
Jim McKenzie mentioned that more leaders could be obtained if a navigation course could be organised. Ken / David will try and carry this out at some point during the year.
Liz H. mentioned that navigation / leaders course would be discussed at Area Meeting.
It has been suggested that committee mobile numbers be put on the programme in case there are last-minute cancellations.
More advertising is now needed, suggestions for placing leaflets etc. were swimming baths and all supermarkets who have display boards. Liz H. will look into this.
Margaret will check the Highland Games to see if one can be fitted in between walks in the Summer.
Liz H. fundraising race night was a great success. Next event will be XFactor / Karaoke night on Friday 30 April.
