COMMITTEE MINUTES FROM TUESDAY 10 MARCH 2009
IN COATBRIDGE INDOOR BOWLING CLUB, AT 7.15PM
Present : Jay Hunt, Christine McMahon, Douglas Bryson, David Dunn, Ken Paton, Margaret Murray, Liz Cushley, Maureen O’Donnell, Liz Hunt

Some leaders attended the meeting and the Summer walks programme was discussed in detail with walks chosen.
A navigation workshop will take place at the Scottish Council.
A cheque was presented to St. Andrew's Hospice, with a 'photo being taken for the 'Advertiser'. Liz advised that some club members would be helping out at charity events in support of the hospice; e.g. walk up Tinto for school children on 28 May - Liz will check if a disclosure is needed for anyone attending. Also, there will be a midnight walk in June which some of the female members are going to attend.
Ken has the 'phone number for a new ceilidh band.
Christine has purchased the First Aid kits for leaders. It was decided to purchase the smaller size kits and to put blister pads inside them.
It was decided to charge full-fare for the bus to the barbecue this year, with food and refreshments being free.
There was a suggestion to have the Summer sail at Loch Etive.
