COMMITTEE MINUTES FROM TUESDAY 11 MARCH 2008
IN COATBRIDGE INDOOR BOWLING CLUB, AT 7.15PM
Present : Jay Hunt, Douglas Bryson, Christine McMahon, David Dunn, Ken Paton, Jim Muir, Liz Cushley, Margaret Murray
Apologies : Willie Murphy, Fiona Thomson
Ken mentioned that the Tuesday dates for meetings did not suit the bowling club in May, June and August as the club was only open on a part-time basis during the Summer. Therefore, it is intented to hold the meetings on the first Thursdays of these months, and Ken will confirm that this is ok with the bowling club.
Douglas advised that only £2 profit was made on the ceilidh due to the poor attendance this year.
The Summer programme was discussed in detail. Short family walks will also take place this Summer, and it was decided that the cost of the bus would be non-profit for these walks. Christine suggested that all leaders be invited along to the committee meeting when leaders/walks were being finalised in order to save time with the overall programme production process.
The barbecue will be held at Yellowcraig Beach again this year, and Jim will make the arrangements for the Summer sail at Loch Katrine.
