COMMITTEE MINUTES FROM TUESDAY 13 MARCH 2007
IN THE "IMPERIAL BAR", AIRDRIE AT 7.15PM

There are presently 6 members planning to attend the Aviemore Walking Festival in May.
Jay is still checking our availability and interest for the Easter weekend.
Jim has booked accommodation on the Isle of Barra for the Easter weekend. Six members so far attending.
The ceilidh was another successful evening. The profit has still to be finalised but is in the region of £300.
Four members attended the Scottish Council at Dunblane Hydro. Discussions took place covering wind farms, short walks aimed at encouraging new members, access rights in Scotland, and also workshops on digital maps and outdoor clothing. It was approved that Ken should upgrade his system to accommodate digital mapping.
The Summer programme is almost complete with just a couple of leaders to be contacted. The bus for the Access Day on 29 April will leave at the later time of 10am.
Social events which will take place are as follows: abseiling, treasure hunt, evening walk at the Falls of Clyde followed by pub stop, and a return visit to Inchcolm Island at South Queensferry followed by a meal.
