Nine people are now attending Knoydart at Easter Weekend and another group are attending Aviemore.
"Grand Ole Opry" was a great night. Robert only got shot once and survived to drive the bus another day. It was suggested that we try a Saturday night next time.
Ceilidh tickets still selling slow. There are a lot of regulars who can’t make it. Christine will contact Srathkelvin Ramblers to see if any of their group are going.
Ken issued draft copies of the summer programme. The walks are every week except June / July / August when they are fortnightly. The barbecue will take place at Inchmurrin Island near Balloch. Committee chose the walks they wished to lead.
Social events to be listed are Cowans Law outdoor activity centre in Ayrshire, “Xscape” at Braehead, White Water Rafting and a summer sail possibly to Inchcolm Island at South Queensferry.
Jay, Christine, Fiona and Liz attended Scottish Council at Troon. Discussions this year included wind farms, talks on outdoor clothing and presentation re digital maps.
