Thirty one people will attend the Bowling Night on Friday 11 October, 7.30pm start.

Twenty-two people will attend the Christmas Party Night in the Georgian, balance of £15 per person due by 1 December at the very latest.

Ken has booked the band for the ceilidh for Saturday 15 February. Kenny to check the Town Hall for that date. If we are able to bring our own buffet the tickets will be £8, if not £10.

John J will be meeting Bert James, the Sports Editor for the Airdrie Advertiser in the next week or so. Christine will prepare an article for John to take along.

Pat has suggested that a brief note about each walk should be put in the Advertiser along with the usual advert.

Pat mentioned that having a committee member walk round the bus with the walks sheet was working well and attracting more people to come out.

We have received £1,119 from the Lottery Grant. The money will be used for first-aid courses and navigation training. John J suggested we should invite members from other clubs for the navigation course if there are enough places for them.

John will bring along the leaders guidance notes for the next meeting.

John has suggested going to the Imax Theatre to see a film on Everest, followed by a visit to Harry Ramsdens'. He will put a sheet round the bus to check interest.
