COMMITTEE MINUTES FROM MONDAY 6 OCTOBER 2003

IN THE "IMPERIAL BAR", AIRDRIE AT 7PM

 

 

Present : Ken Paton, Christine McMahon, John Young, Pat Malone, Jim Muir, Patricia McMullen, Willie Murphy

The bowling night will now take place in November, Kenny to try and book a Friday night preferably when there is no walk on a Saturday.

 

There are now 31 attending the Christmas Party Night in the Tudor Hotel on Friday 5 December. Balances due by Friday 7 November.

 

The ceilidh is booked for Airdrie Town Hall for Saturday 21 February 2004. Price to remain at £8. Ken will produce tickets for sale shortly. Christine has contacted other groups with details.

 

First Aid Course - Trisha has contacted Bob Clark (he recently started walking with the club) who is willing to do a first aid course for the club. He will get back to her on further details.

 

The navigation course will take place March/April 2004.

 

AGM booked for Airdrie Library on Monday 3 November. Christine will purchase refreshments etc. The first meeting after the AGM will be Monday 17 November.

 

Ken has asked John to purchase any maps, map cases and compasses for the club's use.

 

Ken has stated that Mr Miller will charge £110.00 for each 24 seat minibus during the Winter months.

 

Winter programmes have all been issued. Jim has put the programme on the web site.
