The winter programme is now complete. The committee picked the walks they wished to lead and John will contact other leaders for remaining walks. Jay suggested Ullapool for the Easter weekend break.

As Gordon Wilson doesn't want his telephone number in the Advertiser, Pat will be taking the names for his walk.

The Christmas Party is now booked for the Georgian on Saturday 14 December. Deposits for this are now being collected by Kenny.

The provisional date for the ceilidh will be Saturday 18 January 2003. Ken will contact band and Kenny to find out about a venue.

Jim will find out about prices for the Falkirk Wheel.

The lottery grant was discussed. The RA are to be sent a copy of the application before it can be processed.

Jay is willing to stand in for Chairman next year, with everyone else in the committee staying on.

Pat mentioned on the last walk that he took the walks sheet round the bus which seemed to attract more numbers. Any committee member on future walks should do this also.

A couple of weeks ago the Advertiser put in a larger article about the Ramblers than normal. Ken suggested we should try and put in a larger feature about once a month. Jim will see to this. Jim will also contact the Lanarkshire People about our advert.

Jim will update the web with the winter programme and social events.

Jim suggested an 80th birthday get together for Bob Cameron. Christine and Ken will check through the members list and invite some of the older members whom Bob hasn't seen for a while. Elizabeth had suggested we try and get some photographs together of walks and present to Bob in an album. Kenny to contact the Four Aces to hire a room for Monday 16 September. Everyone to take a donation of food.
