COMMITTEE MINUTES FROM MONDAY 6 SEPTEMBER 2004
IN THE "IMPERIAL BAR", AIRDRIE AT 7PM

29 people are booked for the Christmas party night, deposits all paid balance due by Saturday 16th November.
Ceilidh tickets are selling fast, Kenny/Christine will contact anyone who has still to purchase tickets.
The ceilidh in February is also booked for Saturday 26th February. John J suggested we contact outlets now for raffle donations. Willie will purchase fleeces for raffle prizes.
John J suggested we put in another story in Advertiser. Jim will arrange an article.
First aid kits and velcro straps still to be purchased.
Old photos from the early years are to be obtained for the 20th anniversary next year. John J will ask Betty Stevenson and Jim will eventually produce an article and photos for the website.
A provisional date to be booked for the navigation course. John suggested Monday 11 and Monday 18 October for the practical part of the course. John will book Airdrie Arts Centre for these two nights. Willie/Kenny to ask on next two walks to see who is interested.
Winter programme has now been printed. Christine will post out before September weekend.
It was decided to charge £3 for no shows. Kenny suggested keeping a sheet in the walks folder to try and keep a note of this.
John J is looking for the last two lottery applications to see if we can apply for another. Christine will email Ken to see if he has these.
John J mentioned that the Tattoo was a great night.
John mentioned the disposal of litter on walks. A note will be put in with the programme that all litter should be taken home even if bio-degradable. Leaders also to remind everyone at the beginning of walks.
