COMMITTEE MINUTES FROM TUESDAY 6 SEPTEMBER 2005
IN THE "IMPERIAL BAR", AIRDRIE AT 7PM

In David’s absence, he had asked message to be left that we would have to go ahead with the Unity Trust banking asap. Everyone agreed on this.
Ken mentioned note re 10p per mile for reccie expenses. This was agreed.
Due to the cancellation of some walks in the summer, Christine will prepare a note to go along with the winter programme to emphasise the need for everyone to book on walks as early as possible as we may have to order the 24 seater throughout the winter to save on costs.
Ceilidh – it was decided to hold the ceilidh a bit later next year. Some time in April was suggested. Ken to check availability of band and Town Hall.
Allan Ward to be approached to see when he is able to show his 20th anniversary DVD. This will take place some time in October/November.
Christine to book the Arts Centre for AGM and DVD evening.
Willie will check availability for Xmas party nights at the "Tudor" and "Georgian" Hotels.
It is still hoped to have an evening at the "Grand Old Opry" – Willie to check availability for this.
Christine enquired re programmes for new computer. Ken has appropriate discs and Jim has offered to install these.
The winter programme is almost complete with just a few leaders to obtain.
Due to David’s absence there was no financial report.
